Garn Fawr

from Mabinogia Vol One by Nostramus

/

about

A Pen Caer or 'Strumble Head' road trip over two days. With seldom but perfect lighting conditions , yet as windy as Titan!
The Preselis beyond were up in flames that weekend, with Dr Gazz we ventured up to Strumbles high point which was enclosed by a magnificent stone walled Iron Age Hillfort.
In the background Carningli Common is in flames, yet on a sunny day this surely is the land of the angels. 'Garn Fawr' is assumed to mean the great cairn or stone and as the lofty elevation reaches 600 foot plus directly out of the sea, the view is breathtaking.
This was a sunny day , but I am reliably informed that this can be one of the most dreaded and dismall corners during a windy or stormy spell, casting a totally different but still magnificently beautiful in its dread!
I decided that an 'angelic' choral vocal phrase that I had earlier recorded with Ella Jo one of my dashcam videos would meet the mood I wanted for this footage.

Of course maximum respect to Ella Jo for providing her voice for the #soaring angels scenes in the song.
