On a beautiful hot summers day back in July 2021 I took the drone out for a spin from a point under the New Quay Head near the Seafood Processing Plant known locally as the Fish Factory.
I was hoping to be lucky enough to catch some Dolphins at play as they sometimes congregate around the waste outflows from the Fish plant. They had been spotted in the vicinity earlier in the day but by the time I got there, they had vanished.
New Quay Harbour is busy with Yachts and other craft coming and going making the most of the beautiful summer weather. Lockdowns were still in partial force and that summer the great British 'staycation' meant for New Quay and other nearby resorts were exceptionally busy.
Cantre'r Gwaelod the legendary sunken land is said to lie under the Sea in this area, in fact the Sea is never more than 60 foot deep (18M) out for twenty miles.
Here inspired as always on this album by the footage I let the Reggae, Drum and Bass feel shine, which for me more aptly followed the mood of the footage.
